I just posted this over at tats thread and stated that according to the patent summary their is an annual cost of 92 billion dollars associated with Diabetes. STEM just awarded major patent this evening for the future treatment of Diabetes via its pancreatic stem cell program. Dr. Nora Sarvetnic from the Scripps Institute was at the wheel. Thank god for womens suffrage. patent 6,541,251 go here patft.uspto.gov and plug in the patent number United States Patent 6,541,251 Sarvetnick , et al. April 1, 2003 Maybe stem might fare better this month
