Fund Inflows Have Set A Torrid Pace in July

By CHARLES GASPARINO
Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

After pulling back in June, investors are once again
pouring money into stock mutual funds.

Several leading
fund companies
say July is proving
to be one of the
best months of the
year. They report
that investors have
poured almost
twice as much
money into stock
funds this month
as they did in
June, when
seasonal factors
and concerns
about a market
drop inhibited fund investors.

Few fund executives, however, expect this month's
flows to surpass January's blistering pace of $29.1
billion.
