[ADSL / intel]

a lot of assumptions go into your scenario:

- a single world-wide ADSL line-code standard
- universal implementation of ADSL by telcos
- ADSL wins, everything else (cable modems, MMDS, VDSL, LEO sats) fails
- intel controls the motherboard biz
- adding ADSL to the motherboard doesn't impact margins.

when do you see all these things coming together?

there's a reason why SCSI, modems, and until recently ethernet have never made it onto the motherboard. look how hard it's been just to get USB out there.
