You are a couple of decades too soon... if you are looking for a completed, or even partially effective system.

(One test bed in Alaska does little thus far... and the remote Aegis forward sensors are not yet tied in, and won't be for many years.)

I said 'SDI' was yet a dream, and it is.

SDI was Reagan's plan, and they don't call this scaled-down pip of a system SDI anymore (SDI envisioned a space-based system, with directed energy weapons, in a multi-tiered system, covering the globe. This medium range ABM deployment at one test bed - which hasn't even passed the most rudimentary of field tests yet - is hardly even 'one leg' of the system proposed by Reagan).

That's why I said: decades yet.

As to: "It will become a waste of time for the human-like monkeys to build nukes"

LOL!!! Not if they can simply be hidden in cargo containers. After the blast - with no evidence left behind - you wouldn't even know who to shoot back at!

(Was it a black-market Ukrainian nuke? Russian? Chinese? An Iranian? A Korean? Pakistani? Was Israel trying to use us like a cat's paw? Did some terrorist group buy enough fissile material to build one bomb?... you see, who needs ballistic missiles anymore?)
