My orignial 8 on the "BLOOD" thread in '96 were: AMAT, KLAC, LRCX, and NVLS (leaders) and EGLS, SVGI, Tencor, UTEK (2 times cash 1.5 book and below). When Tencor merged with KLAC, I added ASYT. The leaders beat the bargain pretty handily. Tencor (merger - 10 bagger) and ASYT (13 bagger) did well, but EGLS (2-3 bagger), UTEK (1-2 bagger) and SVGI (1-2 bagger) did not
