B: American Fire Retardant Corp. Announces TV Launch Scheduled for the Week of A

SAN DIEGO, Mar 19, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Fire Retardant Corp.
(OTCBB:AMFR), today announced that the long-anticipated, direct-response 3-in-1
Hero television campaign will launch the week of April 7th.

According to Jim Wheeler, AFRC's marketing director, "To make sure all systems
are ready to go, the media buying firm will conduct an 800 toll-free number test
the week of March 31st." Wheeler added, "Our video production company has been
editing the new 800 number into all the commercials and the master tapes have
been shipped back to Global Media for station distribution. We all wanted the
3-in-1 Hero TV Spots and Infomercial to be airing much sooner but we needed to
make sure we had the best call center and fulfillment company signed-up before
we authorized the $500,000 media campaign to commence."

Steve Owens, president of AFRC, said, "We are very pleased to also announce that
Taylored Services, one of the nation's leading fulfillment centers, will handle
our account. In our opinion, not only are they the best, they are located less
than 6 miles from AFRC's manufacturing facility." Owens explained, "Because
liquid shipping costs are high due to weight, we must keep the shipping cost as
low as possible. The proximity of the fulfillment center will lower shipping
costs."

Owens added, "The introduction of 3-in-1 Hero to the consumer market is just the
first step for AFRC in becoming the leader in fire protection for the consumer
and of course, 3-in-1 Hero also protects against microorganisms such as dust
mites and UV protection for fabric." Owens also said, "We anticipate 3-in-1 Hero
to have a tremendous positive impact on our financial condition but we are not
relying solely on it, so look for more positive news to be announced during the
rest of the year."
