Saddam, with his weapons and his many millions of oppressed people and his funding of terrorism is a threat to the world, especially the US. If doing something about it makes you uncomfortable or if the timing of it inconveniences you, too bad.

Agreed, it is too bad the federal budget deficit is the largest ever under Bush thanks to his idiotic fiscal policies.

You must not pay any taxes or something. What are you, a social security recipient? How can you defend Bush and the dreadful economy he has created? Iraq is not worth hundreds of billions. Certainly not to me.

I don't know if you have noticed, but initially this war was not criticized publicly. But this has all changed. The liberal politicians are all over Bush at this point. I just saw Gary Hart, who said quite clealy that Bush had destroyed most allegiances of the 20th century- who knows how long those alliances will take to rebuild, and if we don't find WMDs in iraq "Bush will have some explaining to do". The tide has turned on Bush now. He is open season and for good reason.
