Yes , but not to digress too much the Gospels are one thing , and claiming direct lineage to God is another . This fiction of the descendants of Abraham , and the other fallacies of the "Chosen Ones", has wrought much mischief in the world , to say the least .<G> Christianity and Islam's fundamentalism fail miserably in this universal exclusion/inclusion of all men in God's creation under the pretense & promise of their own poetic versions of eternal Salvation. Not to mention endless war and rivalry which is the attempt here ? And the resisistance to reason under superstitious law. Each thinks it owns the lock and keys ....
