"We are a peaceful nation."

The following is a list of overt or semi-overt military and administration sponsored paramilitary operations since the election of Ronald Reagan:

Lebanon/Syria
El Salvador
Nicaragua
Afganistan
Iraq/Iran
Pakistan
Libya
Grenada
Panama
Columbia
Bolivia
Iraq
Bosnia/Serbia
Kosovo/Serbia
Afganistan
Philipines
Iraq

I may have left out a few, but you get my drift, right?
Can you find me an example of a less "peaceful nation"?
Looking backward from 1980 doesn't really look better until you get back before WWII, and even then our peacefulness was very selective and sporadic. Of those listed, only our recent attack on the Taliban in Afganistan could reasonably be considered a counterattack in self-defense. All of the others have been examples of us throwing our weight around where we had no business doing so, and often leading to unfortunate unintended consequences for ourselves and/or others.

Also, can you tell me which country in the world has the largest arsenal of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons? Can you tell me which country is the only one ever to use nuclear weapons on a civilian population? Do you know anything?
