As you know I am math challenged, but your analysis is consistent with the facts which have been reported, which is that 10%-20% of those who get SARS succumb to severe pneumonia which requires ventilation, and half of those die.

I was encouraged to see reports that treating the ill people with serum from those who have recovered seems to help them. I am also not an expert in medicine but I assume that this is a version of gamma globulin therapy. The US is advanced in this, and so is Japan and Taiwan.

I was also encouraged to see that China has agreed to let WHO come in to study the outbreak.

I was also encouraged to see that we are in the process of sequencing the virus's genes, in order to develop genetic therapy.

Another version of your IT that is transforming the world.
