They both hate us, and as the adage goes that I'm sure your familiar with, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"...

Come on. Adages go a lot of ways, and it still does not mean that just because Saddam and Bin Ladin have reasons to resent America, they must have cooperated in the past.

I can't think of what else I would need to say...

How about an argument that rests on proof rather than speculation about how they must be cooperating because some adage says they would?

I would bet Bin Laden was financed by Iraqi intelligence

Oh please. As in Iraq is so rich and Bin Ladin has no other sources and is so poor to begin with, right?

Is this a "faith" thing, or do you have any proof to base this "bet" on?

He's a terrorist.. promotes terrorism, supports terrorism, harbors terrorism....

Really? What was the latest terrorist attack he was responsible for?

(No, giving money to families of suicide bombers does NOT mean he supports terrorists any more than the Saudis who collect charity & send money to the same families. It certainly is not reason enough to invade a country. Otherwise, England would have invaded the US long ago for its people supporting the IRA :-)
