What if the Iraqi info minister is "in our pocket"? His statements seem geared at keeping the Iraqi people oblivious to the fact that we are right outside the city. At a time like this I would assume that elements of the senior leadership in Iraq are looking for a way out. Turning on one another would not be out of the question especially if Saddam is incapacitated or out of the country. Maybe certain senior people would help us eliminate the fedayeen in exchange for a deal.
