Pursuant to the Settlement, Defendents Gliatech, Thomas O. Oesterling (Chairman (until 9/1/2000), President and CEO of Gliatech (from may 1999 to Sept 2000)), and Rodney E. Dausch (EVP-Finance, Secretary, and CFO of Gliatech (until 8/1/01)) will be released from all Settled Claims. In addition, the Settlement will release all Class Members' Settled Claims against the Defendents' past or present subsidiaries, parents, successors, assigns, predecessors, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, insurers, attorneys, advisors, investment advisors, auditors, accountants, and any person, firm, trust, corporation, officer, director, or other individual or entity in which an Defendant has a controlling interest or that is related to, or affiliated with, any of the Defendants, any entity that acquires the assets of Gliatech in whole or in part, and the legal represetatives, heirs, successors in interest, assignsd, or insurers of the Defendants (collectively, the "Released Parties").

Looks to me like a lousy four and a half million bucks buys a lot of guys out of jail. Sickening.
