Jim, I know absolutely nothing about charts and TA. I defer to you on that. Fundamentally, I don't see how much longer rates can stay low. With all the anti-american sentiment, deficit spending and jackasses in the Fed talking about printing presses I would think foreigners start dumping bonds very soon. We may win the battle in Iraq but we will lose the economic war.
Of course if the Fed does buy bonds in the open market rates could stay down for a while longer, at least until the currency market figures it out.
If the war ends soon, I think the smoke and mirrors show may continue until 2004. Greenscam wants to retire with his legacy in tact and GW wants another term.
