I support this war now that it's going. I have no doubt our military can prevail fairly quickly. There are wild cards like chemical weapons no one can predict.

But the costs of this war are much-much more than the 200 billion in cash for the first year. Bush's unilateral approach has fractured alliances and put the global economy on hold for 9+ months making the true cost more in thet trillion dollar range. That is very serious stuff in a double-dip recession with an already 400 billion deficit this year alone, meaning massive cuts in domestic spending which benefit people and employ people directly.

Hopefully Kerry our next president will be able to heal the wounds and finally bring the world peace and prosperity again. Bush wanted his war and was going to get it one way or another. I have realized that for a long time. Bush also has nothing to do with military ops on the ground. He delegates 100% as he has no personal military expertise. I'd prefer a president who does, and is a great diplomat, like Kerry. Once this war is over you will see, we will paying for this for a long time. Will it be worth it? We can only hope.
