Then you understand nothing of human psychology. You assume that these people have the same intrinsic value system as we do, which is not the case. When judging the logic of a particular action, you must view it in light of the weightings that one's mind applies to various principles (truth, honor, religion, love, ego, power etc). The human mind is almost infinitely malleable, and generally accepts the realities which it is presented.
