RECORD SALES CONTINUE TO DRIVE CON-SPACE
RICHMOND, BC - "Over One Million Dollars in sales for the month of March,"
announced Mr. Terence A. Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE Communications
Ltd., (TSX-VEN:CCB) earlier today, "which is a new monthly sales record and
378% above March 2002."
"With billings in excess of $1,080,000 for March, our third quarter sales
are now over $1,888,000, a 68% increase over the $1,127,000 achieved during
our second quarter," continued Ibbetson. "Further, the Company's original
forecast for fiscal 2003 was $3,350,000. With sales above $3,808,000, we
are already 14% ahead of our complete fiscal year 2002 results and have
another full quarter to go."
Ibbetson stated that the final numbers for the third quarter along with
earnings per share will be released at the end of April.
The rapid growth experienced by CON-SPACE is continuing as expected. The
Company's products are well known in the Industrial, Rescue and Military
markets worldwide and its personnel are acknowledged for their expertise in
providing solutions for communication in difficult and hazardous situations.
The Company's reputation strengthens through deeds like the successful
rescue of nine miners in Pennsylvania last year, when the CON-SPACE Rescue
Probe was used to make initial contact with the miners.
Over the past 10 years CON-SPACE has developed a strong market niche for its
unique communication equipment across all market sectors and is now
supplying the increased needs of both the Military and Rescue Communities.
The Company has also built a strong customer base that includes supplying
its products to other manufacturers as "private labeled" items.
