you'll see that imo there only one conflict with many faces. A western drive to reshape the world in its own image, and a resistance that wants to remain independent.


Here is the crux of our disagreement but my response would be take too long for today. Although there is indeed some very real pushback to westernism in parts of the word, I think this a more apt description of what is happening in Europe not the Arab world. I think of your argument as everybit the cheap stereotype as I do the 'poke fun at Islam' crowd.

I think you have it 100% inverted. What is happening in the Arab world is about the Arab world itself. The 'anti-westernism' is a thin facade to avoid looking at the true source of their problems.

Thanks of the correction on Iran. Typing too fast and didn't catch the mistake. The rest of my point stands.
