KT, I thought that during this time of the year a lot if IRA money must be flowing into equity funds? I guess the tastes have changed: people lost enough money with stocks, so they are piling into "safe" investments -- junk bonds.

Equity funds report net cash outflows of $233 million for the week ended 4/2/03 - with no sector reporting significant activity;
Taxable Bond fund net cash inflows total $2.9 billion - with 72% going to High Yield Corporate Bond funds ($1.2 billion) and Investment Grade Corporate Bond funds ($876 million);
Money Market funds report outflows although Tax-Exempt Money Market funds report inflows ($1.0 billion);
Municipal Bond funds report inflows ($487 million).
