Mighty: Clearly Maurice is concerned that by my skepticism about persuading others of different political views may have damped down posting here.

I enjoy this thread.

So in no way am I suggesting fewer posts.

My skepticism about converting others who are dug in with opposite deeply held US democratic/republican or liberal/conservative political views is just based on years of observation.

For fun, those who have reversed their views might wish to chime in.

What Maurice can not do is bait me to do anything other than repeat my respect for you or Ben or others who have been so helpful re: Qualcomm.

He is having fun, which is his way. Perhaps one of his rants is in draft - if so, I await it.

No way do I consider politics irrelevant re: Qualcomm.

Looking at the world, Europe's preventing the use of CDMA in current spectrum is raw politics mixed with self serving protection of European companies at the expense of the freedom of choice of the European consumers.

China has been a fascinating example of how politics matter.

But that IMO is different from trashing one another about US domestic politics. Not likely to change minds made up.

Again, best and respect.
