Techie: I stand corrected. Intel in board business to my surprise. I remember reading articles about Intel throwing in the mother board towel some years ago. I can't remember all the details now. Could be that they are no longer a prime manufacturer but are getting the boards from second sources. Whatever. The point I'm trying to stress is that ADSL and VDSL technologies are not PC technologies. They are much broader in scope. I'm surprised to hear that you perceive the Amati thread as something other that an honest exchange of information and ideas - even if some of us fail to stay current. Good luck to you.
