Seriously....is there an a antidote for either one of those gases?

The antidote for nerve gas is an atropine injection taken within a moment of exposure. Our soldiers carry pre-loaded self-injectors with their gas mask.

The amount of nerve gas needed to kill a human is far less than the drop reported. That is why it is important to understand that you reduce your risk by reducing your exposure.

Here are some quotes to consider:
"As with any emergency, local authorities may not be able to immediately provide information on what is happening and what you should do."

"In the event of a biological attack, public health officials may not immediately be able to provide information on what you should do."

"quickly decide what is the fastest escape from the chemical threat."

These quotes are from the Ready.gov website. The place Americans are told to go for answers. The last is particularly disturbing because no directions are given on how to accomplish the task.

A basic knowledge of fallout zones for chemical, biological and nuclear weapons is going to have to be taught to all Americans. Those who understand fallout zones and how to avoid them and how to get away from them safely will have a first mover advantage. Those who wait for the authorities to issue instructions will be sitting on interstate parking lots.
