Who cares how many parties Israel has? Or where the authority is?

This is a simple question: Is Israel a secular country?

You said it is:

I say it is not.

Secular means a place where the state does not have a religion. Where religion is completely separate from the affairs of the state. This is clearly not the case in Israel, where there is no constitution and the legal guideline is the Torah, where the ultrareligious are exempted by the state from taxes and military service.

Let me know if you have an argument against this. Otherwise, please agree that Israel is not a secular country, for "parliamentary republic" etc etc has nothing to do with a state's secularity or lack thereof.
