Conversely, the treasury market has been underwater this morning, as the steady advance on Baghdad has dragged treasuries lower, with the 10-year note down 14 ticks, for a yield of 3.97%.

Stage remains set for a higher start for the cash market as traders have not blinked an eye at the slump in March nonfarm payrolls... The market's fixation on the progress on the war front, along with the recognition that the employment report is largely a lagging economic indicator, has contributed to the positive tone of trading in the futures market.
