this war gaurantees a recession from several factors - CNN effect is curtailing consumer spending - Congress cut in half the economic stimulus package - federal deficits have zoomed well past $400B - Iraqi oil production has come to complete halt evidence abounds that Feb was worse than Jan and March was worse than Feb April might be even with lousy March, we will see now factor in the SARS virus from Asia, and west coast especially slows down in economic activity (only thing worse than a virus is a mysterious virus with no cure) and factor in Nigeria shutdown of oil production we have a conflagration of economic dampening effects funny how the end of the war is discounted, when the guerrilla fighting has yet to begin / jim
