you want a president that gives up US sovreignty to the UN

Sovereignty has to do with the right of a state to do as it pleases WITHIN ITS BORDERS. US should consult with the UN and have its approval before aggressing another sovereign country (i.e. Iraq) because it has signed the UN Charter which says war is OK only in cases of self-defense (i.e. nope, not an imagined, projected, future threat like Iraq) and for the interest of world peace.

especially not let the US be bound by it [UN] <ng> --

Ah I see. Nobody should restrain the US from bombing the hell out of whatever country it wants?

these world organizations are carp -- they are not honest or legitimate, IMO

Honesty is debatable, but for legitimacy, you might like to remember that the US did indeed sign the UN treaty and was fine with it until this once when the UN did not agree with it. That makes it very legitimate.
