Ben,

I don't agree with the war. I don't think it was wise on a number of accounts -- I do care what the world thinks -- I especially don't want to see this used to polarize into a larger "religious war." I do think there is validity to asking why we were attacked on 9/11 or why Arabian or a radical muslim element wants to harm the US. I DON"T buy the reasoning that it's because they "envy" our freedom and that they are evil incarnate -- enemies of freedom -- yada, yada, yada -- I agree very much with Ron Paul's writings on the matter ...

But that is not inconsistent with my belief that we shouldn't submit or be bound to a supra-national bodies "laws" or "resolutions." Indeed, Bush and the US do look silly, in that they pick and choose and basically use the UN to their purpose -- that's what I said about honesty. Much more honest to make agreements bilateral and let the duration be such that the two countries continue to agree. That's honest. The UN isn't.
