Good find again G. No reaction to the end of the war with Germany. I can't help but wonder if that was simply that we were still at war with Japan. If you move on to after VJ Day then there is definite improvement. VJ DAY News that Japan would surrender reached the United States on Aug. 14, 1945, but a formal surrender did not occur until Sept. 2, when Gen.
