I am sure there are many who are here for an honest exchange. However, I consider this thread (more than any other on SI), to be totally dominated by people who leak info/rumor/stories that keep positive speculation alive & the stock price high. Some may call them "stock promoters". SI makes it particularly easy to do this type of promotion. Basically spread info that would sustain the stock price on topics that couldn't be officially discussed by the company without risking a lawsuit.

Mark, I don't disagree with the telecom equipment makers playing a bigger role than data networkers. That was a point I had made many many months ago and it wasn't particularly well received here. But the equipment makers you cite may partner (reseller agreements) with data networkers more easily than Amati. Time will tell. As for the comments that offended you, well they weren't meant to offend you personally.
