Actually, there is another plausible explanation for Gary's vituperative language.

I believe Joe Harary was dead serious when he mentioned that legal remedies were being pursued in regards to the extremely aggressive shorting tactics being used against REFR.

I find it within the realm of plausibility that Gary and Bill, and perhaps some others are attempting to convey the impression that they innocently believe that REFR is truly fraudulent and counter any possible inference by REFR or later investigations that their shorting tactics were done with cynical or fraudulent motives.

It's interesting that Wexler is now cautioning others about the possibility of a short squeeze. Whether he's sincere or not it seems likely he has given up his short position. I would think Gary has followed his lead as well. If they have no short positions anymore why the heavy-handed nasty language?

It's either personal or the motive I've suggested.

I've no proof of course. Just a pet theory.
