Our foreign policies have been deeply flawed in the past - no question about it. Foreign policy is not one of our strong suits. But we have the finest military in the world. Unfortunately, when our politicians look for things to do in the world, bombing people is high on their list because we do it so well. But that does make bombing people good foreign policy.
