I agree, Gore was a great disappointment. He didn't attack enough, didn't look comfortable, allowed Nader too much traction, picked the wrong running mate, tried to be too damn nice, didn't play up military or southern roots, and didn't knock out Bush in the debates at all when he should have.

Kerry will demolish Bush in the debates. Kerry is probably the toughest debater in Washington. And on the campaign trail, he would hit Bush hard every day. Bush meanwhile will have a hard time attacking Kerry for anything except being a "Massachusetts liberal". You'll hear that over and over because it's all they have on Kerry. Kerry will counter by campaigning with veterans, men he served with who admire him, firing weapons for the camera, touting his military experience, etc. The L-word tactic wont work this time. It just doesn't have enough substance behind it.
