I think there is a new movement towards demanding accountability from those to whom foreign aid and assistance is given. No more throwing money at a problem and hoping it will stick.

I think the Germans do a very good job at pretty much everything they set out to do.

So demanding accountability from the UN might be a good place to start.

BTW, I see in the Israeli press that they are not at all happy at the prospect of having Bush turn his full attention to them, either.
