Iraq for 12 years violated the UN agreements. During that time Iraq killed thousands in Basra, and in Northern Iraq. This is a legal and moral war. And there are the Ma'dan peoples , or Marsh Arabs to the south that Saddam has been harrassing, displacing and terrorizing...nearly 1/2mil of them & draining the worlds largest (oldest) wetlands: swales.wea.org.uk If you noticed sitting at the table with Saddam this week was a woman in charge of chem/bio warfare research. Since 1998 she has been responsible for rebuilding Saddam's wmd program. I posted a more thorough description of this lass Huda Ammash , heading the chemical weapons program here Message 18795704 would be so nice if these "fellows" ever had some credible links to support their arguments ...but alas Dougie has a very short memory .
