Calm down. Syria is on the list of countries that sponsor terrorism, and so is Iran. We're also fence mending with Iran. We might start fence mending with Libya before we're through.

Killing people is a last resort, sanctions don't work, before you use the stick you use the carrot.

It is reported that Saddam hid WMD in Syria. I expect that Syria doesn't want to get crossways of us at the moment and we want the WMD.
