bagdad is not going to be defended. throughout this "war" it has not acted like a city that had the slightest interest in repelling advancing hordes.

you don't leave the lights on for bombers and you don't leave your boulevards unbarricaded for the tanks. they may as well have put out a welcome mat that read "Please colonize us!"

i find it hard to believe saddam is within 4 timezones of bagdad.
