Or killing the babies because their parents were anti-Saddam...

Or with gassing and killing a million (with estimates of at least another million more) people.

Why does it seem that --no matter what-- you seem to convey that it is an American's "fault"....? Perhaps I misunderstood you. Surely, you don't mean that. Do you?

And yes, to answer your last statement, if an American soldier decides to throw a grenade inside a tent of sleeping soldiers OR civilians, and kills or injures them, then that American soldier is fully guilty of that crime. Saddam had nothing to do with his willfully breaking the law.
