McCarthysim, Tamany Hall, Mafia operations are just a few of the Americana that many foreign dictators have used as examples of their corruptions. It is in fact stated as such by the former dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
It is always self-righteousness that comes to the forefront, making them all smelling like roses if they have the "Made in America" labels. But they sure stink and extremely bad if done by others.
At the present, there is definite without any doubt whatsoever there is a purge of the moslems in the US. Many have been jailed without any recourse. Many of the illegals have scrambled to move to Canada. Many have been here for 10 to 15 years, as illegal citizens. Many have been rounded up and deported. What about the illegals from Mexico, South America, Europe, etc? Nothing much, as long as they are not muslims.
Actually I don't have much sympathy for the moslems as a whole, and I could not care less what treatment they get. However individually, I pity a few of them who had been good citizens living as illegals for so many years and now circumstances dictate they get jailed and deported.
Definite double, triple and quadruple standards taking place here. Of course, no big deal because they are American standards that all the rest of the world are supposed to follow. Which of the standards is (are) the examples for the rest of the world to follow? |
