BubbaFred, <<How many percent of the people wear surgical masks?>>

... 90% on elevators, 50% on public transports, 30-40% in open public space, 100% in banks, 5% in other offices.

<<becoming fashionable, is it also status symbol?>>

... the ladies that used to look good due to shape and look and clothing now look absolutely delicious with mask on. Better still, there are a lot more girls with good shape/clothing than with good shape/clothing/look, and so one can be busying than ever scanning the environment ;0)

<<Is there varying degrees of impact on people who get the flu bug?>>

... I have not run into nor seen on TV anyone who has the disease, only masked folks in an apparent media induced panic. I do not know anyone who is sick, by however many degrees of reasonable freedom.

<<I think what cause the big paranoia is the unusually high (3%) mortality rate among those who get the flu bug>>

... life is a culling process, and given the infection rate and death rate, I am alarmed, but within reason. My wife offered to cook my lunch to be boxed to the office, and I said unless she is going to be doing it for 5 years, do not start.

Chugs, Jay
