The 54th Engr Bn(C) brings back memories of my stint in the service. The 54th just built a pontoon bridge across the Euph river giving our heroes greater access to Bag city. A feeling goes through my body that cannot be described to those who never enjoyed the working/sleeping/marching and chanting of being in an outfit one can call their own. War may have some downside but our cause, along with the Brits, makes every life wasted worth the effort. This war will hopefully bring back men and women who can forge a renewed spirit in this country that has left since the 60's mentality took command. Bring back Spiro-Ike-Hoover and Reagan!! Even Superman and the Lone Ranger-if need be. Wars are our friends!! -->
