Okay, one last post. You have to be able to deal with "RealPolitic." We aren't playing "Pattycake." We are killing people over there. And having our guys killed. Wake up and smell the roses. This is the way the world works. This is typical shallow right-wing thinking. You think you are so realistic, while lefties are all living in a dream world. Putting aside the fact that you are obviously trying to evade the discussion, it is easily established that this mantra is patently false. Our violations of prisoners rights came first. Their violations of prisoners came second. Could there be a connection? THIS IS WHY COUNTRIES TREAT PRISONERS WITH RESPECT! It is not because of respect for international law, it is because one wants one's own people to be treated well when they are captured. Guantanamo Bay has put the lives of all Americans in danger.
