is that the same case that Bill Krystal (sp?) makes? I think it is- that with Iraq's oil Opec will be nullified and Saudi influence as far as the US is concerned will also decline.

Irrespective of that case (which makes more sense than *anything* anybody could come up with wrt Iraq), I still have an extremely bad feeling about this.

I read Al Jezeera now and the US has a real image problem and in this case it is justified. The internet means the world doesn't have to get their only news from us now either. One thing we really need now is a true diplomat to deal with the aftermath of this and George Bush is not giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling thats for sure.
