OK BirdDog, thanks report. Hey, you sent the cold down here. Raining, and a cool 43 degrees.
Well, I had a boxer as a little kid but ole Rusty died young on a hot day. They thought it was a heat stroke. Then we got Kay, the lab, and she lived for many years, all through my younger and teenage days. Use to sleep with me.
We love animals. Have two big dogs in the house now, two cats, two guinea pigs, and as I speak, 6 coons and 1 possum on the deck, at the door where the rain doesn't hit them, at their community feeding pans.
Also, we have a pet cemetery out in front where our loved ones have been buried over the years.
So, when I see pictures of family pets, I take special interest for I can appreciate the feelings and significance.
You mentioned a Saint Bernard. We spend a lot of time out in Colorado. If Mrs. RR and I ever get to where we spend most of the time there, she wants a Newfoundland. Ever seen one? Huge....
