<I decided to gamble over the weekend and hold my short.> options or shares? Any one caught short going into this, without long side hedge; what can i say. I the longs smell blood i think they will possibly try to make an entire years profit tomorrow. The Hedge Funds, which have straddled this market , now seeing the direction will work to whip the run up to its maximum potential and when they cash out their calls they will have massive profits even with a total loss on the short side.This will make their year big time, and drive home that Mutual Funds are dinosaurs, their day is done.
