Founding fathers would have taken up arms long ago against the confiscatory policies of our current government. I would not do such a thing -- but they certainly would have. How high were the taxes on the tea that they dumped in the harbor?? They fought the imperialists ...

The other day Bush said Sadam's day of reckoning is near -- that kind of langauage gives me great deal of pause.

Have we become an instrument of God's judgement? Are we so sure that our cause is just and our motives pure?

Time will tell whether this is "of God" or not ...

It wasn't my decision -- it was the president's, but it grieves me and I have doubts about whether it results in more stability or freedom for the Iraqi people.

May God have mercy on our country -- there are many things that are rotten here.

I pray for a quick resolution to the conflict and the loss of life may be minimized.
