This war against sadam is only the start of an ongoing war to force radical islam to take a serious look at where they are heading and that their version of things that are holy....such as murder...will not be tolerated any more by civilized peoples. A slight error in that argument is that radical islam was not espoused by saddam's regime. Other elements of that regime are good enough reasons to see it removed but the current means are only seen by radical islam as further motivation to excoriate Western values. I have a question for you or anyone else. Why is the so called " cradle of civilization " so far behind the free world in their thinking, personal freedoms, freedoms of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of religion etc. etc. The solution to bringing the "cradle of civilization" up to speed as it were, is one that is best accomplished by leadership and example. To think that war, one of the most uncivilized activities of man, is an expression of leadership is absurd.
