Kerry Continues Verbal Assaults on Bush
Apr 07, 06:34
(Cedar Rapids, Iowa-AP) -- Senator John Kerry refuses to stand-down from his strong verbal attacks on President Bush's foreign policy.

During his latest campaign visit to Iowa, Kerry told fellow Democrats that the president's policy toward North Korea is "irresponsible." He says Bush needs to jump-start discussions with the nation, despite the ongoing war in Iraq.

Kerry came under heavy criticism last week after he called for a "regime change" in the White House. Top Republicans say it was inappropriate for Kerry to speak out against Bush using that language as troops were battling in Iraq.

In response to that G-O-P criticism, Kerry says they picked the "wrong guy to push around." Kerry voted in favor of a Congressional resolution last year sanctioning military force in Iraq, but has repeatedly said diplomacy should have been given more time.
