Great site. I still haven't solved the problem. However, it appears to be a problem with Cleanup manager which is a Windows XP file cleanmgr.exe.

It starts but does not prorgess. Gives a message saying it is compressing files.

When I cancel and then press "conrol-alt-delete", it still is listed in the processes.

Is there a way of uninstalling this or loading it again without having to install entire XP? I have a Toshiba OEM laptop so I'm not sure how one loads parts of Windows XP.
