This is for both DRay and Al. Did you both notice the second part of my statement - "He was however one important factor in the process." Al by quoting me out of context you make it seem like I think Reagan was not a significant factor in ending the cold war and liberating people from the yoke of the Soviet Empire. That is not my opinion. DRay - " The Cold War would not be over today had it not been for Reagan's strength and military effectiveness, coupled with his vision for SDI. We won the war without firing a shot." That certainly is possible but I would say rather that the cold war might not be over today. Tim
