IDT and Intoto Partner to Develop Security Solutions For SME/SOHO Gateways

Intoto's iGateway Security Software Packages Support the IDT Interprise(TM) RC32365 Integrated Communications Processor
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 2003-- IDT(TM) (Integrated Device Technology, Inc.; Nasdaq: IDTI), a leading communications IC company, and Intoto, Inc., the leader in embedded security software solutions, today announced a partnership to provide the Intoto iGateway(TM) firewall and VPN security software solution for the IDT RC32365 integrated communications processor, the first IDT processor with an on-chip security engine designed to accelerate Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) performance (see related announcement). This latest project extends the relationship between IDT and Intoto, who have previously worked together to support the iGateway solutions for the existing IDT Interprise(TM) family of integrated processors to enable VPN- and security-enabled gateway/router designs.

The iGateway firewall software is a comprehensive software solution that includes the implementation of stateful inspection, access policies, application content filtering, network address translation (NAT), protection from Web traffic redirection and administrative support. It allows for the integration of key security features such as dynamic routing, QoS and load balancing for the development of comprehensive security gateways. The iGateway VPN software is an embedded IPSec implementation providing a private encapsulated network service that runs over public networks. This software package is comprised of an IPSec engine, policy manager, IKE engine and cryptographic library and has been seamlessly integrated with the Firewall and NAT modules. The iGateway Firewall and VPN security software solutions for the IDT RC32365 integrated communications processor will be available in Q2CY03.
